Since 1991, The Galli Group has provided superb engineering solutions that keep Oregon’s built environment safe and stable. From foundations and roads to dams and quarries, we bring innovation and engineering insight to every project, staying true to our founder’s mantra: superior solutions are “better by design”.
With over 6,500 completed projects, we could rest on our laurels. But we’d rather keep designing. We’ve grown our team to include the finest engineers, geologists, technicians, and support staff in the field. And we’ve built an onsite soils and material testing laboratory dedicated to delivering accurate, timely results you can trust.
But in 30 years of engineering excellence, it’s our long-standing relationships with private, commercial, and public clients that we’re most proud of. Every project is a partnership, driven by integrity, collaboration, and a commitment to quality engineering.
Professionalism. Expertise. Integrity. We bring them to every project, every jobsite, and every client relationship.
I have been proudly leading the charge at The Galli Group since 2024, in my new role as owner, after seven years of loyal service. I am enjoying setting the strategic direction for the company and occasionally reminding folks that “geotechnical” is not the same as “geothermal” (though both involve digging holes). With an MS from Missouri S&T and a BS from FUTO in Nigeria, I am a certified engineering geologist, registered geologist, and a professional engineer; because clearly, I enjoy collecting credentials like they are Pokémon cards.
At work, I usually wear multiple hats: client liaison, project advisor, and occasionally referee during office debates about soil classification. I pride myself on clear, direct communication, which is just a fancy way of saying I don’t beat around the bush when your project needs answers fast.
I am a proud Nigerian-American who has adopted Grants Pass’s laid-back lifestyle, perfect for someone who has mastered the delicate art of juggling a career, three kids, soccer coaching, and chess strategies. Outside of engineering, you will often find me passionately debating the merits of Nigerian vs. Thai vs. Indian cuisine. Spoiler alert: It’s always a tie!
In short, if you need geotechnical expertise or a partner for your next chess game, I’m your guy.
I have been with The Galli Group for 22 years. I hold a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls and am a licensed Professional Engineer in Oregon (PE #84454PE). I stepped into the role of Principal Engineer in 2020 after the passing of my uncle, mentor, and TGG founder, Bill Galli, P.E., an opportunity that I consider both an honor and a privilege. I am a Grants Pass native, and although I moved to Virginia two years ago, I remain actively involved in the company, working remotely from there. My work at TGG focuses on civil and geotechnical design and review, project management, report and proposal writing, and client relations. I specialize in flood analyses, civil development projects, AutoCAD, and final plans and report reviews.
What I love most about TGG is the professional expertise and experience found in a warm, informal, and family-oriented atmosphere. It truly sets us apart. I strive to bring that same spirit to my own work by making it personal, staying positive, encouraging others, and always seeking the silver lining.
I have been married for 23 years to Annie, TGG’s Secretary, and we have three adult “kids” and two adorable grandbabies. Outside of work, I am still involved with the Active Club, a local nonprofit that supports youth programs in the Grants Pass community and organizes the annual Boatnik Celebration. I spend my free time having fun outdoors and on the water – rafting the Rogue and now learning to sail on the York River. I also enjoy working in the yard, doing calisthenics, rebounding, and playing basketball. And yes, I’m a big fan of NBA guard and Oregon Duck alum, Payton Pritchard! Even from afar, I still consider Grants Pass home. I miss The Climate and that unbeatable small-town feel.
I have been with The Galli Group since 2019, contributing as a Project Engineer with a focus on geotechnical investigations and design, civil and stormwater design, septic design, flood studies, surveying, and elevation certificates. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and hold a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Civil Engineering in Oregon.
I come from a family rooted in construction and development, and those strong community ties give me a deeper appreciation for the work we do and the people we serve. My background allows me to take on a broad range of projects, each with its own unique site conditions and technical challenges.
What I enjoy most about TGG is the variety. We are constantly adapting to different project types, locations, and conditions, which keeps things interesting and rewarding.
I value time spent with family above all else. In my free time, you will likely find me with family, outside enjoying the land, whether it’s fishing, hunting, farming, ranching, or just taking in the natural beauty of Southern Oregon.
I have been with The Galli Group since 1999, proudly holding the title of longest-standing employee. Over the years, my role has evolved into a multifaceted position where I handle everything from project and client setup to document proofing, resume updates, event planning, and even the occasional IT troubleshooting. Around here, I’m also known as “the one who can find it” because I am the only one who can remember projects and clients from 20 years ago!
My specialties include editing and finalizing reports, letters, and proposals, always making sure our work is polished and professional. I enjoy the variety and flexibility of my role and truly value being part of a company run with honesty and integrity.
Beyond the office, I stay active in the Grants Pass community, serving on the Grants Pass Orchestra Parent Board, at River Valley Church, and Serve Grants Pass. Grants Pass is more than just home; it’s where my family roots run deep.
I have been married for 28 years and have two children, ages 14 and 18. In my free time, I love playing board games with my family, attending concerts and shows, heading out on road trip adventures, and watching movies. As for a favorite classic? The Sound of Music always hits the right note, but I am a true Star Wars/Star Trek/Harry Potter nerd at heart!
I joined The Galli Group in 2024 as a co-owner, and currently serve as the Office Manager, helping keep our operations organized, efficient, and welcoming. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, OR, which has shaped both my organizational approach and my people-first mindset.
My day-to-day responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable and running payroll, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so the rest of the team can focus on fieldwork and projects. I am involved in community life and enjoy volunteering as a Sunday school teacher at NW Church and helping at my kid’s school.
What I enjoy most about working at The Galli Group is the sense of celebration and camaraderie; our Christmas parties are legendary! I value the supportive culture here and the way we all come together as a team.
I am married to Dennis, TGG’s President/Sr. Geologist (since 2014) and a proud mom of three, born-to-be-wild boys! I have called Southern Oregon home for many years and appreciate living in nature’s beautiful playground. In my free time, you’ll find me enjoying adventures like boating, river rafting, or just relaxing with my family and dogs by the water. And at the end of the day, nothing beats Vim Thai and Shoji’s for some good food with good company.
I joined The Galli Group in late 2023, bringing over 15 years of geophysical experience to the team. My role as an Engineering Associate focuses on conducting field investigations, analyzing geologic hazards, and processing and interpreting seismic surveys. I specialize in geophysics and geologic hazard analysis. Fields that allow me to dig (sometimes literally) into the earth’s story.
I earned my B.S. in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, CO. Before TGG, I worked as a geophysicist for both the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation and Exploration Resources International, and I co-owned Aspen Excavation LLC for six years. These experiences gave me a unique perspective on site development, from the geology beneath the surface to the coordination of construction above it.
What I love most about working at The Galli Group is the variety. Every site is a new puzzle, each project a unique challenge. I bring diligence, enthusiasm, and a knack for logistics to everything I do.
Outside of work, I am a proud parent of two adventurous boys, a gardener, and a nature lover who enjoys exploring the diverse landscapes Southern Oregon has to offer.
I joined The Galli Group in 2025 and quickly found my niche as a versatile and reliable member of the team. I am proud to hold a degree in Civil Engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology in Klamath Falls, OR. My primary responsibilities include field drilling, construction observation and inspection, seismic survey tests, assisting with lab testing, and technical report writing.
I consider myself personable and approachable, traits that help me effectively manage diverse tasks and collaborate closely with my colleagues. My role here often means stepping in wherever needed, which I jokingly refer to as doing “whatever Ben or Dennis ask me to do.”
What I appreciate most about The Galli Group is the positive, supportive work environment; plus Dennis’ beautiful smile is a bonus.
Outside of work, I take full advantage of the unique outdoor activities available in Southern Oregon, especially enjoying the urban camping opportunities around Grants Pass. In my free time, you’ll find me duck hunting, golfing, or catching a baseball game.
I joined The Galli Group in 2024, bringing with me a strong background in materials testing and lab supervision. As the Laboratory Supervisor, I oversee the day-to-day operations of our lab. From running tests and maintaining certifications to ensuring our lab meets quality assurance standards. I also manage the Radiation Safety Program and make sure all lab procedures and accreditations stay up to date.
Before coming to TGG, I spent several years at Carlson Testing, Inc., where I worked my way up from Materials Tester and Inspector to Senior Laboratory Technician. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, and a suite of industry certifications through ODOT and ACI, including CAgT, CEbT, CAT1, CMDT, and Concrete Field Grade 1.
One of the things I value most about working here is the ability to work independently while contributing to something bigger. I take pride in being able to read, understand, and explain complex testing specs and procedures, skills that help keep our lab running smoothly and accurately.
Outside of work, I am a dedicated family man. Married for 9 years with two children. I love spending time in the forest, hunting for interesting rocks, and exploring museums. I’m also a big fan of Dungeons & Dragons (3.5e, to be exact), because a little adventure and imagination never hurt anyone.
I joined The Galli Group in 2025, stepping into a supervisory role where I help lead field operations with a focus on inspections, team coordination, and keeping projects running smoothly. My responsibilities include everything from scheduling and performing inspections to report writing and supporting my team’s forward momentum.
I bring a wide range of certifications to my work, including ICC certifications in Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, S1 Bolting, S2 Welding, Post-Tensioned Construction, Spray Fire-Resistant Material, and Intumescent Paint. I am also certified through ACI for concrete and rebar testing and through ODOT for concrete inspection.
My strength is working in high-pressure environments. When a lot is riding on the outcome, that’s when I’m at my best. I insist upon clear communication, which helps me build strong relationships both on and off the job site. What I appreciate most about The Galli Group is the tight-knit, family-oriented culture. I am genuinely excited about growing here and being part of something meaningful.
When I’m not working, I am usually out riding motorcycles with friends, gold mining or camping with my son, or lifting weights at the gym… my second favorite place to be. I love the natural beauty of Southern Oregon, especially the endless trails and camping spots that make it such a great place to live and raise a family.
I have been with The Galli Group for over 11 years, and during that time, I’ve built a reputation for being the guy you can count on. Whether we’re out of town drilling borings or in the field testing concrete and inspecting rebar. My list of certifications has grown with my experience, to include ACI Concrete, ODOT Concrete, Nuclear Density Testing, Epoxy inspection, and Certified Embankment and Base Technician (CEBT). My day-to-day work includes a little bit of everything, but I’m always ready to jump into whatever the job needs.
What I like most about working at The Galli Group is the atmosphere; it really does feel like one big family. That support and camaraderie make a huge difference when you’re out there getting the job done.
I am easygoing and reliable, both on and off the clock. In my free time, you’ll usually find me outside riding my dirt bike, mountain bike, or jetski, especially at the rivers and lakes that make Southern Oregon such a great place to live. And when it’s time to kick back, I’m always up for some football!
I have been part of The Galli Group team for 8 years, working across a wide range of field and technical services; from drilling and construction inspection to concrete and density testing, lab work, surveying, and equipment maintenance. I have certifications in ACI Concrete Testing, Nuclear Density Testing, and Erosion Control (LEAD). I enjoy the hands-on nature of my job and the variety of projects that keep every day interesting.
My specialty lies in drilling, but I’m known for being a well-rounded “handyman” who is respectful and always willing to help wherever needed. What I appreciate most about TGG is the diversity of work and the supportive environment we have here. Before joining TGG, I served in the U.S. Army Infantry for six years, an experience that sharpened my discipline and adaptability, two traits I carry into my work today.
I tied the knot on June 7, 2025, and am a proud stepfather to two wonderful daughters. I love spending time outdoors with my family, taking in the beauty of Southern Oregon across the changing seasons. When I’m off the clock, you’ll probably find me riding dirt bikes, snowboarding, or tackling projects around the house and yard. I also enjoy diving into a good read, especially the William R. Forstchen trilogy.
I have been with The Galli Group for over a decade, and still proudly contributing to the team from all the way across the country in Virginia the past 3 years. Even while working remotely, I stay closely connected with the crew, reviewing and editing daily field reports, concrete breaks, and proposals to make sure everything is accurate, clear, and ready to go. I am committed to staying in touch and on top of my job, no matter the distance.
With a strong knack for organization, typing, and proofreading, I thrive on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. My favorite part about being at The Galli Group is the close-knit, supportive team environment. We work hard, we communicate well, and we genuinely enjoy each other’s company.
I have been married to Mel, TGG’s Sr. Principal, for 23 years. We have three amazing kids and two grandkids who keep life fun and full. Outside of work, I love staying active and creative, whether I’m skateboarding, snowboarding, painting, or soaking up the sun near the water. The river remains one of my favorite things about Southern Oregon, and though I’m based in Virginia, part of my heart will always be out west.
I have been part of The Galli Group since 2015, proudly serving in an administrative role that blends dependability with flexibility. Whether it’s answering phones, filing documents, or jumping in wherever I’m needed, I do my best to help things run smoothly.
Originally of German and Scottish descent, I bring a strong work ethic and a spirit of service to both my professional and community roles. I have also spent years supporting local churches as a Sunday School administrator, first in California and now in Oregon, which has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life outside of work.
What I enjoy most about The Galli Group is the relaxed atmosphere and the wonderful team I get to work with. It’s a comfortable, welcoming environment where everyone supports each other.
I have been married for 45 years and have five children, 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren who keep me busy in the best ways possible. When I’m not at work, you’ll likely find me camping, enjoying time with my grandkids, or heading to the mountains and lakes… my favorite parts of Southern Oregon. And when it’s time for a bite to eat, Tacomania is my go-to spot.
